The point of this final blog post is to really sum up and reflect on our blogs. When looking over my final product I am nothing but proud of how my blog has evolved over the past nine weeks. I was very concerned at the beginning on the February that my blog would not be presentable by the end of the semester. I was very wrong. Not only is my blog presentable, I am proud to show it off.
We have been asked to speak about how our blog reflects the course site. For me, that is an easy connection. I have not only connected it to most of the course content, but to a lot of content discussed in my other classes. I have discussed things from our OSAPAC assignment where I looked at Tinkerplots to digital citizenship to programs such as Symbaloo and Bitstrip. It has been so much fun to show off my work somewhere where someone might actually see it.
I had originally written this blog post about how much teaching has changed and the world has opened up for me with technology. I have stuck my toe in the technology ocean with this course. After this course, I want to jump head first into the ocean. I am excited to learn more and spread my knowledge. After this week of troubleshooting, I decided to re-do my final reflection about how I have changed the most. Earlier this week I had some technical difficulties with my blog. I was unable to access it in order to make the finishing touches I needed to for submission. Before this course, I would have given up after about two minutes of trying to troubleshoot the problem and never looked back. This course has made me more patient with technology and more importantly, made realize the community of people that are always able to help and troubleshoot with you. I didn't realize what kind of a technology community I had until I started reaching out to people asking for advise. This really showed what I knew when it came to technology and how to effectively use the community of people.
